Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Tamil Star Calendar. By downloading, installing, or using the app on any platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tamil Star Calendar (“the App”, “we”, “our”), you (“User”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. These terms apply regardless of the platform on which you access the App, including but not limited to Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS).

Your continued use of the App after any modification to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2.Description of Service

Tamil Star Calendar is a spiritual and cultural reference application providing:

Daily panchangam data including nakshatra, thithi, yogam, karanam, and vaaram
Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam, Gulika Kalam, and Horai timings
Tamil calendar events, auspicious days, viratha thinangal, and special occasions
Temple directories — Paadal Petra Sthalams and Divya Desams
Marriage compatibility (Porutham) calculations based on nakshatra
Push notifications for daily spiritual reminders
Premium features available through subscription (Tamil Star Calendar Prime)

All timings are calculated and displayed in Indian Standard Time (IST) and are applicable primarily to Tamil Nadu and surrounding regions.

3.Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 13 and above. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should use the App only with parental consent.

You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using the App.

4.License to Use

KPNextGenLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on compatible devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
Scrape or extract data from the App in an automated manner

5.Subscriptions & Billing

Tamil Star Calendar offers a premium subscription plan — Tamil Star Calendar Prime — which provides access to ad-free experience and enhanced features.

Auto-renews annually unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

App Store
Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off in your account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You may manage or cancel your subscription via your Google Play account settings (Android) or Apple ID settings under Subscriptions (iOS)
No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law or platform policy
Introductory offers, if available, apply only to new subscribers and cannot be combined with other offers

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable prior notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6.Advertisements

The free tier of Tamil Star Calendar displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of such advertisements.

Ads are not displayed to Tamil Star Calendar Prime subscribers. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements. Ad interactions are governed by Google’s terms and privacy policies.

7.Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to panchangam data, temple information, icons, graphics, UI design, text, and calculations — is the property of KPNextGenLab or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

The name “Tamil Star Calendar”, the app icon, and associated branding are trademarks of KPNextGenLabs. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

8.Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and cloud services, and Google AdMob for advertising. These third-party services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

9.Accuracy of Content

The panchangam, nakshatra, and other spiritual/astrological data provided in the App are derived from traditional Tamil almanacs (panchangam) and are intended for general cultural and spiritual reference only.

Tamil Star Calendar does not claim absolute accuracy of any astrological, astronomical, or religious calculations. All timings are in IST and may vary slightly across different regional almanac traditions.

We are not responsible for any decisions — personal, professional, or spiritual — made based on the information provided in the App. Always consult a qualified astrologer or priest for important matters.

10.Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. KPNextGenLabs does not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
Any errors or defects will be corrected
The App or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KPNextGenLabs and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12.Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the App or other users.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your respective app store account.

13.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and may notify you through the App or via other communication channels.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14.Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
